Aluminum Ingot

Aluminum ingot is a pure and compact metal block obtained by melting and pouring aluminum. It is a widely used form of aluminum and is used in many industrial applications.

Aluminum ingots are usually produced in standard sizes and weights. These ingots are used as the basic raw material for aluminum’s casting, rolling, extrusion and other processes. Ingots can then be made into aluminum products of various shapes and sizes.

The production of aluminum ingots first begins with the extraction and refining of aluminum ore. Then, refined aluminum is melted in melting furnaces and poured into suitable molds to form ingots. After the ingots are cooled, they are shaped and made ready by various processes.
